Cancellation and reservation terms
 

Cancellation terms related to accommodation:

  • No later than 28 days (4 weeks) prior to the starting date of the booking, the deposit payment and remaining sum will be returned minus the administrative fee of EUR 50.
     
  • Between 28 - 15 days prior to the starting date of the booking incurs a charge totalling 50% of the booking value.
     
  • Less than 14 days prior to the starting date of the booking incurs a charge of 100% of the booking value.

All cancellations must be made in writing or via telephone direct to the hotel. The cancellation will be regarded as being received at the time the information of the cancellation in question has reached Hotelli Luostotunturi Oy.

In the case of unforeseeable events, i.e. force majeure, Hotelli Luostotunturi Oy is entitled to cancel the booking. In these cases the customer is entitled to receive a reimbursement of all payments remitted to the hotel in full.

We recommend customers take out the appropriate travel insurance cover against any possible situations and cases of force majeure. The hotel is not obliged to accept cancellations based on a doctor’s certificate or other similar documentation.

The hotel room/apartment is available for your use from 2 p.m. on the arrival day to 12.00 a.m. (midday) on the day of departure.

Cancellation terms for activities and treatment services:

Cancellations should be made in writing or by telephone direct to the hotel no later than 3 p.m. on the day before the booked services.

Cancellation terms for entrance fees and tickets:

Tickets bought and confirmed from online reservation system are not refundable.

The general shopping and booking conditions for the online store of Hotel Luostotunturi:

These special conditions apply to all bookings made on the online store of Hotel Luostotunturi. All personal information gathered through the system will be treated in compliance with the Personal Data Act.

The Hotel Luostotunturi online store applies the following conditions for the ordering, booking and cancellation of ordered tourism services. These conditions are binding for both contractual parties, once the customer has made and paid for the booking.

The customer’s obligation to read the general shopping and booking conditions

The customer is obliged to read these general shopping and booking conditions in addition to conditions that may apply to individual products before making the booking. The customer is obliged to read the vendor’s contractual, booking and delivery conditions specified for the product in question for each booking.

Booking

The service maintainer for Hotel Luostotunturi is not to be held liable for any possible damages caused by the customer’s making of bookings, the payment of such, reimbursement of payments, or the availability of products or product content. If the booking is unsuccessful, the customer should immediately contact the vendor to rectify the situation. The vendor cannot guarantee that the product/service will be still available.

You do not have to register to be able to use the online store. In connection with the booking, the customer should always inform

  • address
  • email
  • postal address
  • telephone number(s).

The customer register of Hotel Luostotunturi is company-specific, and the companies involved are hereby obliged not to forward any details on to third parties.

Prices

The system will provide a price for the service, which includes the legally specified VAT. The price includes the products or services mentioned in the product description. Prices may vary according to booking period. The extra services reserved in connection with the product booking are priced separately. Orders for extra services are binding.

Payment

The Hotel Luostotunturi online store accepts payment using Nordea and Osuuspankki internet banking services. Accepted credit cards are Visa, Visa Electron and Euro/Mastercard.
The booking is confirmed once the total price for the product has been paid using the internet banking facility or by credit card. 

Booking confirmation

Once the customer has paid the booking fee, the booking system will send a booking confirmation message to the email address provided by the customer.  If the customer does not receive a booking confirmation, the booking has not been registered. The booking confirmation should be kept as guarantee or against possible errors.

Cancellations

The cancellation terms mentioned in the booking confirmation are applied to all bookings made through the online store by the customer.

Rights of the vendor to cancel a booking

As the vendor for the online store, Hotel Luostotunturi has the right to cancel a booking due to reasons beyond its control, so-called force majeure. In these cases the customer is entitled to receive a reimbursement of all payments remitted to the hotel in full. If the service vendor cancels a confirmed booking without a justifiable reason, or if the service is no longer available, even though cancellation has not occurred, the vendor will be held liable for direct damages caused to the customer.

When making a booking online the customer accepts these booking conditions. Before making the booking, the customer is responsible for reading the shopping and booking conditions, instructions related to making the booking, as well as any special conditions that apply to individual products. Please remember to check your travel insurance covers you against cancellations!
